A Long Awaited Status Update

Attention all Drama Guild members:

It is time.

….almost.

Hang on, before you throw your iPhones/monitors out the window, here’s the deal—

Yes, we have a show.

No, I can’t tell you what it is just yet.  We are ordering the rights over the day or so, and I want to be sure we have it confirmed before I get your hopes up.  So, all things considered, we will know what or WHO it will be by the time the weekend’s out.

Here’s what I can tell you:

Auditions will be held the week of January 26^th-30^th.  First rounds of Auditions will be Monday 1/26 from 3-6, Tuesday 1/27 from 3-5, and if necessary Wednesday  1/28 from 3-6.  Callbacks will be held Thursday 1/29 from 3-6 and, if necessary, Friday 1/30 from 3-6

The performances will be held April 16, 17^th and 18^th (Thurs/Fri/Sat Matinee/Sat Evening).  Yes, that is the week we return from Easter Break.  Unfortunately, because the program was organized later than usual this year, we have the short end of the stick regarding available show weekends.

The full rehearsal schedule is below—I know things are coming up quick, but rest assured, I’ve got your back, gang, and I’ll be posting more info about auditions---including tips and tricks to help you—semi-regularly on the FB page and the Drama Guild Site as we approach zero hour.

Auditions:

1/26 3-6 PM, 1/27 3-5 PM, 1/28 3-6 PM (Wed. tentative depending on number of students auditioning)

Callbacks:

1/29 3-6 PM, 1/30 3-6 PM (Friday tentative)

Rehearsals: All weekday rehearsals in Feb. and March are 3-6 PM, all Saturday rehearsals 9 AM-3 PM

2/2, 2/3, 2/4, 2/5, 2/6, 2/7

2/9, 2/10 (Cafeteria), 2/11 (Cafeteria), 2/12, 2/13

2/17, 2/18 (Cafeteria), 2/19 (Cafeteria), 2/20, 2/21

2/23, 2/24, 2/25, 2/26 (Mon-Thurs in Cafeteria due to OC’s Got Talent), 2/28

3/4, 3/5, 3/6, 3/7

3/9, 3/10, 3/11, 3/13, 3/14 (no rehearsal Thurs. due to Mr. OCHS)

3/16, 3/17, 3/18, 3/19, 3/20

3/23, 3/24, 3/25, 3/26, 3/27, 3/28

3/30, 3/31, 4/1, 4/2 (Wed/Thurs 3-7 PM)

DRESS/TECH REHEARSALS:  All dress rehearsals 3-11 PM (detailed breakdown TBD)

3/13, 3/14, 3/15

PERFORMANCES:

3/16, 3/17, 3/18 (2 shows Saturday, curtain times TBD)
